Dr. Rebekah Huffman is a board-certified ophthalmologist specializing in cornea, external disease, cataract, and refractive surgery. She performs modern cataract surgery including the use of techniques to reduce dependence on eyeglasses after surgery. This includes the use of small incisions, non-invasive anesthesia, and surgical astigmatism correction, astigmatism correcting lens implants, and multifocal lens implants to reduce the need for reading glasses.
A native of Kentucky, Dr. Huffman earned her medical degree from Lincoln Memorial University – Debusk College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed her ophthalmology residency at the University of Kentucky. She went on to complete a fellowship in cornea and refractive surgery at the University of Wisconsin – Madison.
Dr. Huffman is passionate about delivering advanced surgical care while empowering patients through education.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Huffman enjoys gardening, reading, listening to podcasts, and needlepoint.
